Dreamscapes: Acupuncture and Art for Unlocking Dream Wisdom

Journey through the dream world and into a space of healing in this immersive workshop. Using acupuncture to soothe the mind and body, participants will then tap into their dream state to create art that reflects their inner thoughts and emotions. Learn how acupuncture points can support dream recall, emotional balance, and clarity, while discovering your own personal interpretations of the dream world.
Acupuncture is as a treatment consisting of the insertion of needles through the skin at specific points on the surface of the body.
During this workshop, participants will be required to lie on the floor for 30 minutes with needles in their arms, legs and head.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. If not, we have a few available for you to use. If you'd like, you can bring a pillow for additional support.
The acupuncture session will take place first in the conference room on the lower level of the Tannery Building after which we will move upstairs to Bloom's studio for art making. Art materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you'd like to work with something specific!
Disclaimer:
Among possible complications (although rare) are: fainting, nausea, weakness, bruising, or aggravation of present symptoms before they resolve.
Being hungry, dehydrated, or fatigued may make the body more sensitive to an acupuncture treatment. I understand that I must eat a snack or meal at least 1-2 hours before treatment.
If at any time I feel faint, I will let my acupuncturist know immediately.
